DATE OF INCIDENT:  March 1, 2015

LAST DATE “DEEMED AIRWORTHY”: September 30, 2013

DESCRIPTION OF ACCIDENT:  A Challenger 601-3A corporate jet, N600NP, experienced a landing overrun and subsequent collapse of the nose landing gear at the Marco Island Airport (MRK), Florida.   See Kathryn's Report for details

ENGINE:  General Electric   Model:  CF34-3A   S/N: 350103   

              Per last Engine Logbook Entry on 09/30/2013:  Engine TT: 15,026.6  Engine CYC: 9,302

              Per Engine Overhaul September 2003:  TSN: 11,512   CSN: 7,144

Engine Details:

Based on logbook entrees it appears this engine was installed new in 1982 and received an overhaul in September 2003 by MTU Maintenance Berlin.  At time of overhaul TSN: 11,512 and CSN: 7,144.  Complete digital overview on website.

Engine was wrapped (shown in pictures) and placed in a climate controlled storage facility on May 21, 2016.
