DATE OF INCIDENT:  5/15/2025

DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT:

Hard landing - shortly after takeoff a loud abnormal clanking noise was heard while retracting the landing gear. After multiple attempts, the landing gear could not be deployed.

Aircraft Bluebook states this aircraft is a 1960 per the serial number

Left Engine RL-36341-36A:  Overhauled/Rebuilt engine installed with 0 time April, 1998

Right Engine L-3130-36:  Remanufactured Zero Time engine Certificate 8/14/1968, installed when aircraft had 1,329hrs.   Logbooks are difficult to follow total time.  Math = Current TT of airframe 6637.6 - 1,329 = 5,308.6.  This is my opinion, be sure to review.
