DATE OF INCIDENT:  1/11/2026

DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT:

During the final approach, the aircraft encountered sinking air, and the throttle was rapidly advanced when the engine briefly sputtered.  The aircraft then made a hard landing and slid to a stop on its nose.
